Christmas Eve Concert

This is the power of gathering: it inspires us, delightfully, to be more hopeful, more joyful, more thoughtful; in a word, more alive. ~ Alice Waters

Welcome to Paths of Heart“- a high spirited, heart-centered community where we gather together in music, poetry, commentary, and dialogue to create and nurture joy, compassion, gratitude, and love – in our own lives and throughout the world.  Paths of Heart is a 501(c)(3) Human Services/Educational non-profit organization that uses the arts, especially, to encourage and propel seekers of a better, more peaceful world to find ways to serve, while becoming more kind and compassionate human beings.

We welcome you as we collectively and individually explore the sweet mysteries of life – this is an invitation into co-creation! Our gatherings are most every Sunday at 10:30 a.m. at 117 Evans Drive in north Fort Collins. Childcare is available (please let us know ahead of time so we can make arrangements).

We hope our paths cross soon!

Christmas Eve Concert

We wanted to remind you that there will be no gathering on the morning ofDecember 24th.  Instead,  we will gather in the evening at 7:30 pm to celebrate the holiday season in a multicultural way with music, poetry, and readings from different traditions.  Myles and Emma Sloniker will be back in town to join us in the music, as will singer Eva Bacmeister, flutist Judi Lucero, and Rabbi Jack Gabriel.  Please join us for this holiday tradition and feel free to bring family and friends!  The concert will last approximately 75 minutes, for those planning other events that evening.  Love offerings/donations to Paths of Heart will be gratefully received.

Looking Ahead/Notes of Interest

The holiday season is here and we are so grateful to be sharing it with you and to be celebrating almost 4 years as a loving and kind-hearted community!!  Many of us plan holiday and end-of-year giving at this time and we hope if you find value in our Sunday Gatherings and all that Paths of Heart has to offer, that you’ll consider a year-end tax-deductible contribution.  We invite you to contribute through our website, for your convenience.  Just click on the “donate” tab.  We thank you for your consideration, as we plan next year’s budget and activities.  We hope to expand our invitations to guest musicians and speakers from across the country (and world?!) and to host other events of interest to our community.  A healthy donation record from individual contributors will also help us as we look at applying for public grants this coming year.  Thank you!
On our website you’ll also find past newsletters, a newsletter sign-up form, more about our organization, and a photo gallery.  Stop by for a visit and please share with friends!

Paths of Heart participated in Colorado Gives Day by contributing to the following organizations:  Hearts and Horses, Lincoln Center Support League, 3Hopeful Hearts, and The Sustainable Living Association.  Other recent recipients of Paths’ (your) generosity also include Realities for Children, Children International, Create Places, and Trees, Water, and People.  We are doing our part to change lives locally and internationally!

Big thanks to Judi Lucero for sharing her musical talents on flute with us again last Sunday and to Iraj Mazaheri for sharing “Oh, Holy Night”.

As this year draws to a close, we are grateful for safe travels, family, and friends, old and new.  We are grateful for the gentle wisdom, knowledge, and playful service we experience each week with you at Paths of Heart, which balances and guides us in love, kindness, and courage as we make our way through challenges.  Onward to new adventures in this sweet season of light and peace!

“There is a calmness to a life lived in gratitude, a quiet joy.” — Ralph H. Blum

CAR-EOGRAPHY *  You may park in the driveway, as well as diagonally along the north side of our property.  Should those areas become full, please park out on Hwy 1, which has plenty of space and a nice wide shoulder.  Please watch for cars as you are exiting and entering your vehicle, though! The carport area is reserved for folks with special parking needs. Out of respect for our neighbors, we ask that you kindly refrain from parking on Evans Drive beyond our property line. Car pooling is encouraged.  We also have a bike rack for cyclists!

Yoga with Heart!

We do yoga here in our “community space” on Mondays and Wednesdays.  All levels are welcome to participate.  Let us know if you’re interested in joining this heart centered practice!

“Be a lamp, or a lifeboat, or a ladder. Help someone’s soul heal. Walk out of your house like a shepherd.” ― Rumi

Please note, we are a “remove your shoes upon entering” household (what better way to bare our “souls”…!).  Feel free to bring slippers or thick socks for your comfort (and we always have extras!)
